Go to a vegetarian restaurant or one that has vegetarian dishes (usually Asian restaurants, especially Indian).  Find one with a lunch buffet if you can.  This way, you can take one spoonful (teaspoon not serving spoon) of each to try.  Write down the ones you like and ask what they are called if it doesn't already say on the buffet.
