  1. Well if i had to pick between the camaro/ trans am or the eclipse i would definitely pic the camaro/trans am. They're way faster, better looking, not as good on gas:(  , but they're domestic so maintenance and parts will be cheaper. Although, the camaro is expensive and the trans am is more expensive. You can get a 95-99 Eclipse GSX from anywhere between $5-$10 thousand, depending on the year, if your into the whole ricer thing. Now if you want an Ls1, you're going to have to get a 98-02 camaro/trans am because GM didn't put the Ls1 into the cars until 98, before that they had an Lt1, also it has to be a z28 or SS for the camaro, the Trans am comes with it because trans am is a firebird model, i think the firebird formula comes with it also. For a 98-02 camaro z28(not SS) it would cost you anywhere between $7500(if you're lucky)-$20 thousand, the cheapest camaros would be the retired state trooper patrol cars(they have the Ls1 and are very cheap, but hard to find.)  The Trans am is slightly more expensive and will cost you about $10-$26 thousand. For both of your cars combined it looks like you'd get a little over $5000. That will not get you a Camaro/Trans am with an Ls1, but maybe an earlier model with a Lt1. It could get you an Eclipse and the Eclipse is better on gas, but not as cool or fast. Before trading your cars, try selling them privately, you'll get more money. Hope this helps.
