Want to visit Canada but don't know where to start let along where to stay. Any suggestions?

A friend of mines is letting me rent her time share and I chose to go to Canada. I don't know anything about Canada, the Cities or anything. I'm driving from Chicago and want to know where is the best place to go. I have read others answers and some say Stay on the Canadian side or Niagara Falls or Clifton hills etc.. This confused me. Where can we stay, Toronto, Niagara Falls. We have 21 yr old 16,10 that is also going too. Please help with any suggestions. The time share has many hotels to choose from and I need to narrow a city, town whatever. Thanks for any help you can provide. Since we are driving from Chicago, I would like something closer to Chi. Don't want to drive hours into Canada. Thank you, Thank you

A hotel near Niagara Falls. Then you can visit places like Marine land, African Lion Safari and Canada's Wonderland which are not so far from Niagara Falls. Trust me wherever you stay you'll enjoy it because Canada is a beautiful place. There is a city called London, Ontario too its a two hour drive from Toronto it also is very beautiful I adore it.

i would stay at the hotel right beside the falls in niagra falls!I foregt what its called though... they have tons of stuff there and you're about a 1 1/2 hour drive away from toronto i think

Lake Kootney is very beautiful!  My grandparents live right next to it, its only 40 miles from the border above Idaho

well you're gonna be driving a little ways to get to canada...like 5 hours. so you might not want to go farther than toronto. southern ontario is rather nice. definately go to niagara falls and make sure you see the fireworks at night. maybe a beach on lake huron as well. theres wasaga beach and sauble beach that are nice. hope i helped

You can join a tourist group to travle.

Toronto--Kingsaton---Ottawa---Montreal... Quebec city.

The whole wonderful tour only just take three days.

I would not recommend reserving the time share in Niagara Falls.  It's a nice place to visit, but you'll get bored after 2 days.

Get a place in Toronto.  There's a huge variety of activities for all ages in the city and you can always take day trips from there to the Falls or a beach etc.
