With the economy as bad as it is, I am looking for a job at night that I could do from home. I am not looking to spend money on something either I have already read about those. I am looking for something like data enrty or whatever I can get. I am just in need of some extra cash to pay the bills. Any help would be awesome!! Thanks

  2. Data entry is a job you can do from home, but those who actually hire people for the job only hire people who have a solid work history in data entry.(those people who actually work for the company are given the option to work from home as a bonus for good work performed).  Sites that claim you can do it with no experience are scamming you.

  3. I would love to do a data entry job too. But everything is a scam :[ I've tried like every one of them and they're all scams. But I did find some sites that are great that I am getting paid by. I actually found a ton of different sites. Just filling out surveys and talking to friends and I earn money. I made a website that lists all the sites I use to earn money.

It's really easy and everything is free... because who wants to pay to earn money?

Also.. the employee should never have to pay the employer.. That usually means it's a scam.

    Good luck!

  5. The work from home jobs that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

Time & effort required - but do your own research on what is best for you, don't take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of public website.

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

  6. "If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.

If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'.
