Question:

Want to work at home or start own home business?

I want to either get a job that I can work at home or start my own business (probably online) that I can run out of my own house. What would be my best starting point? Books I should read, programs I should look into, areas of business that are good to get into. I had a dirtbike / motorcycle parts company going with a friend of mine but that quickly went under in a few months for many reasons. So now I want to do something on my own that can make me enough money to live on my own decently. I am well aware of the many "scams" or false hopes that are out there. Again I have already had a business working from home but there wasnt a high enough demand for what I was doing to sustain. Any help would be great, Thanks!

  1. Most of the people that I have met are intrigued about the idea of making money from the internet. However, some people do not know where to begin. If you are planning to start your own internet business, the first step is to get some education. It is always good to know what are the theory and science behind starting an online business.

  2. I have to recommend a book to you, written by Pat O'Bryan called "Your Portable Empire".  This is an amazing read that opens up a whole new world for you.  I have other books as well such as "Beach Money" by Jordan Adler, who is my business partner and mentor.

It's a jungle out there in the online business world, and these guys really make it simple to find your direction and go for it.

  3. You made a valid point in that a previous business you had did not have a high enough demand. Many don't understand that starting a home-based business is just as critical as starting a traditional business, if you don't know the demand of the product/service your are marketing you are doomed to fail, which is why many legitimate businesses get blacklisted as that they do not work. We are on the brink of a recession, and money is tight. Consumers are looking to save money on something they need and potential business owners are looking to make money without having to cough up too much to start. I managed to find the perfect balance for me, I help others save money on their health/dental care costs or make money working with me. You can check it out out at www.thinkbiggerthanajob.info.

  4. Hello,

The information you are about to learn will give you a new perspective on which industry you should be in when starting your own home based business.

Did you know that it took the U.S. economy 215 years to produce the first 3.6 million millionaires? That was up until 1991. Then, in just the next 10 years, the number of millionaires doubled!

So what does this have to do with the Wellness Industry or more specifically, what does this have to do with you?

Well, according to economist Paul Zane Pilzer, in his book The Wellness Revolution, he predicts that by 2016 there will be 20 millionaire households and since each household represents 2.5 people that means that there will be a staggering 50 million Americans living in a household with a net worth of $1 million or more.

Considering there is just over 300 million people living in the U.S. today that should shock you!

He goes on to say that the greatest opportunity entrepreneurs have to become the next millionaire is in the Wellness Industry. From the year 2002 to 2007 the Wellness Industry went from $200 billion to $500 billion. It is on track to be a trillion dollar industry by 2012.

Now, just in case you didn't know, there are not too many trillion dollar industries. The Food Industry and the Medical Industry are two of the biggest trillion dollar industries.

I don't think I need to explain how BIG a trillion dollar industry is and how much wealth is spread around when an industry advances towards becoming the next trillion dollar industry.

So I'm sure you're wondering what force is propelling the Wellness Industry to becoming a trillion dollar industry. This might surprise you. Individual wellness entrepreneurs are the force behind this massive industry! Small business owners are reaping HUGE rewards by distributing wellness products and services to the world!

Maybe being a millionaire seems too far fetched for you? Well, what about being in an industry as a home based business owner that gives you an opportunity to earn enough to retire on?

The product has great mass appeal because of the great quest for healthier whole foods instead of depending on drugs and vitamin supplementation. Zrii has a very lucrative compensation plan that places profit in your pocket fast. When distributors get rewarded quickly the more motivated they are to promote the product.

We have a marketing system in place that cost us a significant amount of time to put together so that even if you've failed at network marketing before you'll succeed with this one. Nothing is left to guess work. You'll be pleasantly surprised at how easy this is.

  5. There are lots of things to consider in starting your own home business. I have bumped into this site Homebasedbusinessbooks.com. Really a great source, stuffed with information that you can apply to your business and help you earn money. It is also a user friendly site.

  6. The best home base business is one you can feel good about.

As you've already mentioned, there are so many out there on the net that hype their home business as the best to get involved with and make money with.

And it's up to each individual to do their research and not believe every Tom, d**k and Harry just cause they say so! Even me!

You also mentioned there wasn't enough high demand for what you were doing to sustain your business.

That is one of the biggest factors most people don't realize about ensuring high deman for what they are promoting. It's good to see you realize you now have to look for something with a high demand. I will let decide for yourself if what I am doing is high enough in demand for.

But first let me do a little explaining, how I go about considering the best home base business for me to do.

The best one's I've found for me personally are the home businesses that are simple to do! If they are not simple for the average Joe to do...then you're sure not to make any money.

That's why I only get involved with home business that provide so much value in and of themselves that even if I didn't make the kind of money I would have liked to make...I still made out like a bandit!

In other words, if you yourself are not using the service or product yourself...then you really have no business promoting it to others. You have to believe in it first...in order to feel good about promoting it to others.

And most of all, you have to believe it won't rip people off!

I only promote home base businesses that first save you a lot of money, while making you money at the same time.

That way you're always getting more bang for your buck and your investment in the business never exceeds the savings your are receiving from the product or service you yourself are using.

This is the only way to ensure people do not feel they are getting ripped off! And above all! You can feel good about it!

I also found the best home businesses at least for me, had to include an all-in-one marketing system for the product or service being promoted. I found these type of systems cut the learning curve by leaps and bounds when one is first starting out on an online home business for themselves. And of course a support system second to none!

So to answer your question and hopefully giving you a little advice about being a little wary of the home based businesses out there on the net.

So why not check out the home base business I feel, is the best one out there for me, personally.

It's called "Freebie Force" and is a site that is fast becoming the best all-in-one freebie site on the net! And the low start-up cost is only ten dollars a month. That includes the all-in-one marketing system (website for you to promote, hosting. lead capture list and support second to none).

Easy business to do. Do you know anyone who doesn't like to get free quality stuff from the internet? Of course not.

Plus you get paid for referring others to receive all the free stuff you yourself are receiving. And as you can see, it is a product and service very much in high demand! Especially, with the economy the way it is. You agree?

So check it out and see if this can become the best home base business for you to do. I know it is for me!

I didn’t want a get rich quick or multi-level marketing scheme. I did however, want support and training. Well, I found what I was looking for and would like to share with you what it is that is changing my life.

  10. "If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.

If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'.

has some good information on how to search recruitment websites for work at home positions.

  11. Your best bet is to try and start a business online. Just find something that you are interested in, and you know something about. Then look into it. You never know what is going to work. It all depends on your knowledge and how you market. Marketing is the most important part of an online business because it is so hard to get people to find you, as opposed to a brick and mortar shop where they see it while they are driving, etc...

I suggest you read the book "The Tipping Point". It is a great book, and I am sure anyone else here who has read it will attest to that fact.

    its actually pretty funny.

  12. The work from home jobs that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

    http://my-data-entry.blogspot.com/

Time & effort required - but do your own research on what is best for you, don't take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of public website.

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.
