The best way is to go to one of the web sites that exchange homes. But you' ve left it a bit late this year.

try holidaylettings.co.uk or cheznous.co.uk. Prob no great discounts, but they are reasonable. Gites de France would be even cheaper, but they dont have many places with pools.
