Wanted: Mastiff Dog Buffalo/New York?

Question

My hopes were dashed by the Buffalo Animal Shelter of getting the dog of my dreams by adopting it out, even though I had placed a hold on the dog.

I am not an unreasonable woman, so i went back and checked out the dogs again..1, who had been lively and happy was visibly down beaten shaking horribly in the corner.

My question is :

Does ANYONE in the Buffalo area know of a young MASTIFF dog who needs a good home?!?!

If you do a search on petfinder.com, you can find dogs in shelters who are available for adoption.  I'm not sure if you strictly want a pure bred mastiff, but I did a quick search and many mastiff's/mastriff mixes came up as a result in NY.
