My husband had a really really bad fight awile ago. He beat the c**p out of me for the second time. My 10 year old son is the one that called 911. I had to go to the hospital because he broke the toilet with my back, punched me in the face 3 times, threw the vacuum at me etc. When Illinois police showed up, they were very kind to me, and even gave me hugs...perfect gentlemen...My husband was drunk, but, they had him handcuffed on the way to the car. He said they banged his head on the car door. Then the main PO punched him in the face, while handcuffed, saying " How do you like it?" He also said they were very mean to him, calling him names all the way to the station. Was it VERY wrong what these PO did? Or, does it happen all the time? What do you think? He tried to report it at the court date, but, no one would listen to him.....

  1. If it did happen, then it's illegal and he could have filed a citizen's complaint with their internal affairs department, as well as contact the D.A. The judge at his trial isn't going to give a d**n because he only has the power to address the charge against your husband, not police disciplinary issues. But I wouldn't sympathize with him if I were you. Hopefully, your husband will be less likely to bully you in the future, if doing so will result in somebody else bullying him. Being drunk doesn't turn a nice guy bad and it isn't an excuse - get out of the relationship as soon as you can.

  2. Personally, I think he is just trying to garner sympathy.  He assaulted you and is now afraid of going to jail, so he tries to turn his problems onto somebody else.  The more likely scenario would be that he resisted as the police tried to put him in the car.  As he was resisting he bumped his head oh the car door.  If the police officer called him names all the way to the station, it would be on video.

  3. HONESTLY U SHOULDNT CARE!  u should leave him! unless u want that good ol a** woopen again & again. Honestly the cops shouldnt beat him up, at all. He deserved it and the cops have feelings 2 it probably pissed them off to come out 4 a nutty house call 4 sumthen stupid as  domestic violence!! and how did u count how many time he punched u!!?? ouch 1 ouch 2 ouch 3 "okay he hit me 3x" u disgust me i will pray 4 u hopefully u wont have o encounter this again.

  4. the b*****d got wat he deserved

  5. Did you see this happen, or are you listening to your looser husband who beats you?  If you did not see this happen then you will have to form your own opinion about the  "perfect gentlemen" Vs. your abusive drunk spouse.  Dump this idiot now before you or you child ends up dead.

  6. some police officers do that yea its wrong but it happens i think he deserves it... he really cant do much if he reports it its more likely for it to get ignored

  7. don't worry about it! they had a degree, they came, they do that, also as long as they didn't chuck a vacuum at HIM and chuck HIM at the toilet there and make HIM fix it.
