Wanted to fix a self start button in kick start model of BAJAJ PLATINA ?

i have a kick start model of Bajaj Platina bike. But due to my fractured leg it becomes impossible for me to start my bike by hitting a kick. Now i want to attach a self start button in my bike which will help me to start a bike with just one thumb press. So, please let me know is it possible to make such a change ? how will it cost in pune ? whether such a change make any problem in bike's origional ignition or performance ?

Converting to an electric start while possible would be highly impractical. You would need a starter motor, a more powerful battery to   turn the motor, a more powerful charging system to charge the battery not to mention the complexity of fitting all of the same in the current setup.

Secondly you should not be riding with a fractured leg as you could aggravate your injury.

Thirdly even if you do go ahead with the modification it would definitely affect the warranty for the motorcycle.

Thats the long answer.... the short answer... don't do it.

isnt that an indian bike? I dont think people would know too much about those.... my opinion...
