kota is about 250 kms from jaipur.So you have to go to jaipur first.Direct buses to kota/jaipur ply from ISBT Kashmere gate.Luxury coaches/sleepr coaches also halt at JAIPUR HOUSE and dhaula kuan to pick up passengers.rail route to kota from delhi is shorter,faster and cheaper.frequency of  trains is high.

Now Gujjar issue is solved  you can go to Delhi Station ask for the train to Kota. It is on  NH 12. between Jaipur and Jabalpur So Delhi To Jaipur and Again Jaipur to Kota, It is around 450 KMs. So overnight Jurney

Also You can take Mumbai train from Delhi.

Also Most of the trains that goes to Baroda or Ahmadabad passes via Kota

For Kota Train journey is economical less time consuming.If you want to go to by Bus then first go to Jaipur from Rajsthan house at India gate and get the bus for Kota bound or changed at Jaipur.
