Wanting faster times for a 07 GSXR 600...?

My boyfriend owns a 07 GSXR 600 motorcycle. He drags it, and it's stock all except for a Two Brothers Exhaust. He's been thinking about getting a TRE (Timing Retarded Eliminator) but it would make his bike read 5th gear the whole time, and use more gas.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what he could do to his bike to make it go faster, but not mess up the computer system or have it read the same gear?

If hes just using the bike for drag racing. he should think about getting the engine re-mapped. using more Gas/fuel is just a side effect of going faster. there is a great deal of things you can do to make the bike go faster over the quarter mile.

the best thing to do would be to seek professional help from a tuner.

Just get the engine tuned.

It will still be in street trim, but just 5 - 7 more BHP will shave his 0.2 seconds off.

Lengthen the swing arm but 100mm. It will still be street legal, but handle like a bag of nails.

Drop the forks through the jokes and loose the front mud guard ( fender ). This will allow more rapid throttle use, and not the fear of it flipping over. Can be changed back to road trim in less then an hour.

So many little things can make a big difference, but the real trouble is, you ( he ) wont stop. Before you know it, it will chopped for Busa, with a Holeshot turbo and 6 ft swingarms !!!
