Wanting my job back, i got payed off in dec?

Question

I was working for tesco for 3 months and then i got payed of due to them not making enough money to keep staff on and it wasnt going to plan for them but now i hear there looking for staff again and i really enjoyed the job i was doing. I was wondering if anyone could help me how to apply for the same job? Should i send them a letter telling them ive worked for them before?

Most companies keep records of employment...so you should remind them of your service (dates, etc.), the department you worked in, make sure to mention your manager's/supervisor's name, and tell them how you enjoyed working for them previously and that you would appreciate an opportunity to join their workforce again...now that they're hiring again.

As long as they were pleased with your work and work record...you shouldn't really have much of a problem.
