Question:

Wanting to get in shape for my renewal of vows. Am I wrong?

I've started planning our renewal of vows. Part of the planning is weight loss, toning, and wellness. I LOVE the results I'm getting. I'm finding alot of inspiration from other people who have been in my shoes. I want to have a smoking hot figure when we go on our trip. I'm 36. I've never really wanted to get into shape before now. Hubby is happy that I'm happy and healthier. Am I wrong for wanting to be my hubby's "eye candy" as he likes to say?

What's your opinion?

  1. Why would that be wrong??  I say good for you for choosing a healthy life style and wanting to look and feel your best.

Just remember too much of anything can be detrimental so as long as you are not fanatical about it and pushing it on everyone else, then who cares.  As long as you feel good!

By the way, I'm in the same boat as you.  Planning our 10 year anniversary next year and I've lost 27lbs so far this year.  I feel and look so much better!  I can't wait until next year!  :0)

  2. First off, it is always good to take care of yourself.  And, if that turns you into a hottie - aren't you lucky!

If you husband is happy about it - great!!!

  3. No it is very admirable to want to improve yourself! Just seems a waste of time and money to renew your vows - what? - didn't it work the first time then?. Just seems to to show that the first time was not enough validity.

Good luck and best wishes mind you.

  4. You Go Girl!

  5. Can't see how that could be wrong unless you be came obsessed and/or began to let your self-esteem hinge on how you look.

If you're not obsessed and have a healthy self-image regardless of weight, enjoy your new, smokin' body!

Being healthy is fabulous, and it's totally normal to want to be physically attractive to the one we love. I'm sure you husband loves it when you find HIM attractive, as well, so I don't see any sexism here or anything...

    Best of luck.
