  1. I don't know if there's any distinctly "black" parts of London as it were. But London is such an amazingly multicultural/ethnic city you should have no problem meeting anyone of any colour/variety/belief, etc.

    That's why I love it so. :)

  2. There are many universities in and around London, but I am only personally experienced with London Metropolitan University (http://www.londonmet.ac.uk/) which is located in North London and has a very diverse student body.  I am not sure of the exact statistics, but most people in my classes there were black or asian.  I am a white female and was definitely a racial minority.  I had one class with 100+ people where I was the only white person in the room.  That being said, I was never made to feel like an outsider and all the students were very friendly to me and I was always included in their activities and conversations.

I did a quick scan of London Metropolitan's website and it looks like they do have at least one nursing program, but I suppose it depends what specific area of nursing you're looking in to.  The school is not in a fantastic part of the city, but I never felt unsafe walking around there especially since it was located right off the underground station so I didn't need to walk a lot through the area.  London in general is a very diverse and accepting city so I don't think you'll feel like an outsider no matter where you end up.  Hope this helps!

  3. just have an open mind! it seems like you are about to embark on a very cool adventure. i wish you luck. im sure if your a nice guy, people will accept you, and you could make some great friends.

    cheers!

  4. london is a fantastic city and if you want areas to move to where there is a large black culture try and finad a place in brixton in south london or hackney a london borough in east london hope this helps :)
