Depends on what type of housing your looking for, Areas to avoid in Mk are:

Lakes Estate, Fishermead, Springfield, Conniburrow, Netherfield, Bean Hill, Coffee hall, Greenleys, Stacey Bushes, Fullers Slade, Bletchley, Wolverton to name a few.

Some parts of Newport Pagnell are ok, lots of nice villages around that town, best thing to do is visit and have a look around as lot of the new estates are really nice but its huge now and depends on what you what to do when you get there.
