Wanting to surfing in Cocoa Beach?

I just bought a condo with walking distance to the beach. There are tons of surfers there (although none are cute haha!) and they look like they are having so much fun! Needless to say I have always wanted to surf and can anyone recommend places in/by cocoa that are good for beginners. Also how long does it take you to learn and are camps or lessons better. I am a teenager

Jeff Kennedy is a great instructor in your area. Camps and group lessons are probably the most fun for beginners, because you'll be laughing at yourselves together. They're less expensive than one on one lessons too. (he's a good looking guy too). Call him up, he's a super nice guy.
