Wanting to take a vacation to Belize?

I can do the 400-500 doddar a night thing, but all I have in mind is a hut on the beach somewhere. Know of any good ones?

You don't need to do anything close to those $$$ to stay on a hut near the beach in Belize. Many places on San Perdo caye, or Caye Caulker, which are both small islands off the coast of Belize City. Or you can go to Placencia, which is growing like crazy with places to stay....Personally I love placencia....the water is amazing...

Ambergris caye is a nice place to stay. I am not sure where you are wanting to stay... the main land or one of the cayes. I stayed at a friends resort on Ambergris about a year ago and it was amazing. My friends resort is called the Capricorn and has one of the highest rated restaurants in Central America. As far as accommodations there are 3 little cabanas. The owners name is Kitt and he is a pretty cool guy. You can also check out trip advisor for other places to stay in Belize. I would recommend the southern most resort on Ambergris because they are closer to town.
