Basically every beer on the planet is on that site.

Before swearing off American beer definitely check out some of your local offerings, the economy could use the help anyways.

You can buy beer online via the following sites...

    http://www.bottletrek.com

    http://www.liquidsolutions.biz

If I was going to pick some foreign beers to recommend I'd go for...

    Weihenstephaner Original Hefeweizen

    Traquair Jacobite

    Brasserie d'Achouffe La Chouffe

That's a broad smathering of styles and location, all VERY good IMO.  All three shouldn't be too hard to find locally or online.

  2. Good place to go is a local store if you have one that sells micro brews and international beers... I can suggest some really good ones to start off..

    Youngs Double Chocolate Stout

    Boddingtons

Belgian beers like Deliriums Tremens, Nocturum are sweet but high in alcohol so watch..

    Chimay is awesome

    Aventinus (german dopplebock)

Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barleywine style (is made here in the states but very good)

  3. Try proper Budweiser - the Czech drink, not the American stuff made from rice.

I always liked Shlitz from the US & black Swan from Australia.

German beers are all good, as are Czech beers.

English beers are great - Adnams, Spitfire & Pedigree for starters.

But for a real adventure - Belgium.

There are over 1000 different beers.  Some are mass produced bland stuff like Stella, others are exquisite almost champagne-like micro-brewed beers.

    See:

  4. For an American micro brew I'd recommend: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

For a foreign beer I highly recommend Chimay Grand Reserve which is a Belgian beer.

You can learn about thousands of beers from across the world and read reviews at beeradvocate.com . It's an excellent resource.

Good luck in your search, and I think that once you start enjoying better beer, you'll never go back to the "regular" beer's you mentioned.
