Generally, such things are to be avoided .. you will discover (if you ever try to claim) that the 'exclusion clauses' say, in effect, that the Insurance is invalid if you have ANY reason to think you might loose your job .. and the no. 1 evidence you have reason ??? ...you are looking for insurance...

Also they only start paying out after some delay (they know most people get a new job withing 6 WEEKS .. so that is why some only pay out after 6 MONTHS ..) .. also the max. pay out / max. claim time will be limited .. in fact, you may do better to forget the Insurance and put the money saved into a savings account instead ..
