wapusk is Cree  for Polar Bear.  The park is in Northern Manitoba along the Hudson Bay.  The nearest town is Churchill, MB aka polar bear capital of the world. You can get brochures about Wapusk from Parks Canada or just check it out yourself by heading to Churchill.  It's NOT your typical federal park.
