The tourists took an unassailable lead of 3-1 in the series at Seddon Park on Thursday defeating Ross Taylor’s side by 41 runs in the fifth match. But the Pakistan coach urged his side to end the outing on a winning note and said, “We must

Pakistan have always been struggling with fielding but this time, the department considerably improved during the series, especially during the game at Hamilton.
“The biggest plus point is that our fielding has finally shown signs of improvement and we took some great catches and executed run-outs in the series,” said the former captain of Pakistan.
However, he did caution his men against complacency saying that the pressure during the World Cup would be manifolds and the competition would be tough.
Waqar also hinted at making two changes for the Auckland game and said that Asad Shafiq and Abdur Rehman might be given a chance.
He dismissed any chances of playing spinner Saeed Ajmal in Saturday’s match saying that the side does not want to take any risks just two weeks before the mega event gets underway.
Ajmal is battling a finger injury and is expected to make a comeback during the warm-up matches of the World Cup.
