Waqar Younis eying series win against New Zealand
Pakistan cricket team coach Waqar Younis has set his eyes on a first Test series win since 2007.
He praised the players for their performance against New Zealand in the first match and paid tribute to them for keeping their focus on the game.

Former captain and express fast bowler Waqar was impressed with the team’s focus on the match considering the spot-fixing hearing involving three Pakistani players that was underway when the first Test was being played.
Waqar stated that his team had been playing good cricket but luck was not on their side. The Pakistani coach said, “It’s not that we’ve been playing bad cricket, it’s just that the controversy has just been following us.”
Waqar also admitted that the past few years have not been easy for the team. He commented, “It’s very, very hard for the boys to keep going and keep hearing this but I’m very proud of these boys, they’ve stuck to the task and every morning they get up and
keep positive.”
