Waqar insisted that he had not been briefed by the PCB on any matter related to the Afridi fiasco and will be in a better position to talk on the matter after having a meeting with the PCB officials.
Earlier on Tuesday, the PCB had requested Waqar to return to Pakistan from Ireland instead of heading to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 to take care of his ill wife.

The former skipper had bitter words for team manager, Intikhab Alam, calling Alam a “hypocrite”.
The belligerent all-rounder also revealed that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Ilyas-Mahmood-c76948, a former cricketer and father-in-law of left-handed batsman Imran Farhat, wanted Afridi out of the team to ensure the selection of his son-in-law in the national team.
Meanwhile, Ilyas has rubbished Afridi’s allegations and has insisted that the all-rounder should publically apologize to Butt for his baseless outburst.
