Pakistan’s head Coach, Waqar Younis, has refused to say anything regarding the former captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahid-Afridi-c2482’s new statement.
According to the sources, when reporters tried to contact Waqar, he did not show any interest in responding on the situation, which has developed after Afridi’s criticism.
Recently, Pakistan’s former skipper, Afridi, who was sacked from the captaincy, slammed the former fast bowler, Waqar, while participating in a local TV show.
The star all-rounder stated that Waqar is not the ideal person to be considered for the coaching task of the national side and indirectly rated him as an egoistic individual.
Afridi also went on say that the Pakistan’s coach does not know how to perform his job professionally, and has failed to understand players’ psychology.

He cited that they have been learning many things from Aaqib, and gave credit to his coaching courses, which have been helping him solve the players’ problems comfortably.

According to Afridi, who was the skipper of team Pakistan during the recent Caribbean tour, Waqar was not willing to include young players in the team, and prepared the final XI for the last 2 matches.
Earlier, returning home from the Caribbean tour, skipper Afridi made several statements in media regarding the PCB and team management. He alleged others to meddle in team affairs unncessarily.
On the other hand, Waqar, the team coach, mentioned in his West Indies tour report that Afridi is a selfish person, unwilling to listen to seniors. However, he has not commented on the latest statemens made by Afridi.
