War, lack of resources, global warming...?

Have we meet our hight of living? Is the world slowly perishing?

They have been saying that since before I was born which is quit a long time.  It is no more true now than it was then or a thousand years ago.

I believe that the present increase in the world population will continue to accelerate for a while before reaching a maximum.

The Chinese are the only nation to have started a plan to reduce their numbers by limiting their families to 1 child per pair of parents. This seems to us to be a inhuman idea but it does at least make a serious attampt to preserve more of the available natural resources for the future.

As for the perishing of the world, how long should it be made to last? And why? I cannot be sure that we need it to last much longer because the probability of the evolution of a new humanoid afer we all die off, might produce a better result.

No, resources will change, wars will decrease the overpopulation, global warming is BS. Technology will continue to advance.
