War between Russia and Georgia?

It is unbelievable how the US is presenting the news. Bush makes it seem like Russia attacked poor little Georgia, and that they are killing innocent people. What the news is not telling us is that Georgians attacked South Ossetia first, trying to get their land back, which once belonged to them. But now South Ossetia is absolutely independent. Did you know that Georgians invaded South Ossetia by burning villages, raping women that were trying to run away, cutting children's' heads of in front of their parents? There were buses full of kids that were trying to run away to Russia, and Georgians burned those buses with the kids. They burned a bunch of old people inside a church. Russia had to step in and stop this! And tell me, how can Bush be saying that Russia is doing a terrible thing, while he has thousands of his own people in Iraq!

Yes, Russia responded bravely but don't blame the US.........Americans have helped Israel to defend itself from Arab countries.

Americans helped destroy Serbia who invaded neighbouring countries, used aggresssion, raped women, killed whole family.

i just heard about what happened with russia and georgia this morning, i worked the entire weekend and just now learned about it, what i heard in the news was that russia was cease firing but that was the first thing i heard i was like what is going on? i was thinking that russia was the bad country for starting the thing not georgia thanks for the info

You are correct.  It shows the extent to which US press is controlled by the govt. Just like n**i Germany, Soviet Union, China.

You missed the part about the major oil pipeline that runs through Georgia into Russia.  Any thoughts or concerns about securing oil?  Putin is all about "nationalism."

It's not just Bush, here in the UK the media is presenting it like Russia is the aggressor - very little mention of the Georgians shelling South Ossetia.

let's get an independent 3rd party to verify these charges before rushing to judgement.  If we've learned anything of history, the propaganda of the Russians, media from both sides and the ol Bush mustj be taken with a grain of salt.

You think Russia that big, and that much of a power-house military would attack such a weak country like that. No of course not.

Bush obviously doesn't know anything. He's the president and he didn't know that. This is why I think he is a horrible president, and why most country's hate our guts.
