  1. Rule of thumb for anyone whoever dealt with Russia in the past or from WW2 and WW2 European vets..................is "NEVER TRUST A RUSSIAN".

Irregardless of who started this war, never side on the side of a Russian because it will always, 100% of the time, be regretted. They will kill their own mother.

  2. Russia has been illegally in South Ossestia and Abhazia since 1991.Georgia has been very patient, but it is their country and Russia refused to leave.Georgia quite rightly tried to take back the 2 regions (which is Georgia, not Russia) 191 soldiers were killed and 9 civilians.

Imagine East Anglia in Britain being invaded by France and for 15 years we ask the French to leave with no success. In the mean time France artificially hands out French passports to the E.Anglians.Would you expect Britain to try to reclaim by force their own territory after 15 years of diplomacy???Yes,because you would be outraged by the French.Yet when it comes to Georgia you have a different opinion

  3. yes the georgians might have started it by killing a couple of russians on there own land.

but for russia to go steamrolling in destroying everything is out of order.

bush is out of order for telling georgia that the U.S would back them up, then does nothing but winge about it.

it doesent matter who started the conflict. russia needs to be put in there place or they will threaten the world especially europe intill a world war does brake out.....

we just all need to pray that china or india or iran dont step in. because remember that the usa is the most hated country in the world.

and if you go to war it means us brittish need to go to war.

bush created this world, strap him with an ak47 let him go fight his own war

  4. Russia can never be trusted. They have never fully given up the former Soviet Republics, even though the USSR no longer exists on paper, they still have an iron fist in the affairs of most of the former members of the USSR. They hold control in parts of Georgia, and have armed the Rebels in those areas. If you want to see the true face of Russia, then go to Budapest in Hungary, and visit the house of terror. You will see the way they would treat anybody who might stand up to them, they have no regardl for Children, Women, and even the old and infirm. Who supplied arms to the Serbs in the former Yugoslavia?

  5. no, the question is-who's side u take russia OR murderers?........before u decide check the link

Rich, d**n, u r shimmering, r u alright? ...russians are in YA, may be u wanna join Saakashvili in chooing his tie?

Rich (2)... and for u to know last days just prooved never MESS with russians- we protected innocent civilians, while US gov started this war but when thing turned ugly-left their "ally" a.k.a puppet AND have lied to to their own nation through the media about what happend... (why do u think Saakashvili is chooing his tie? ....silly boy left on his own by you and will not mess with russians any more!)

Rich (3) ...and if it wasnt russians, Hitler or someone else (may be ur own president) would woooop ur ***!

  6. Georgia, the defenders.

Georgia attempted to assert its authority over its own territory, and the Russians decided to invade because they sensed weakness and an opportunity to take out a pro-western democracy attempting to gain entry to NATO.

Besides, Russia's actions during this "war" have been atrocious.  They've targeted both civilians and reporters, demolished cities, and knocked down bridges.  Georgia deserves reparations.

  7. Georgia is a little dump. It should be taken over

  8. Sorry, the situation doesn't appear black and white.  It's hard to know who the bad guys are.  On the one hand, Georgia wants to assert its sovereign authority over one of its provinces.  The province, however, is ethnically, economically and politically aligned more with North Assetia, they've got the support of their big brother in Russia.

Its no different than our support of Kosovo when they broke away from Serbia, no different what so ever.  In that case, we (the US) were acting like the big brother and supported their breakaway.

The truce they just signed, is almost the same one they signed back in the late 90s, where Russians provided peacekeepers to assure security.  Don't you just love world politics.

My worry is that the most competent President of our time is leading our response to this powder keg....YIKES!!!

  9. None of the above.

The Georgians started it, and true to form, no(ne of the very probably promised) support from its friends in the West was materializing  Now they have the Russians inside the country, saying "make us" when Bush shouts to them from the rooftops to leave.  Does Bush not realize that the whole world immediately thinks "Iraq" when he talks about the evil of invading sovereign countries?
