Today, i got some space marines at a inderpendent retailer because my closest GamesWork Shop Closed Down. The closest one to me now is in the city, which is an hour away!

But my Question Is, should i quit? do you think i should keep playing? I really like it so far, but do i need a GamesWork Shop? Thanks

  1. Hi, Byron.  Thanks for the private request on this question.  I hope you got my reply.

Don't give up!  You've got an independent retailer locally, so there's a good chance that there's a nearby club.  Even if there isn't, you're bound to find other players with whom you can get together to play.

If this takes you a while, don't despair!  It just means you'll have plenty of time to build those lovely new models and get them painted so they can be the envy of your new opponents.

If you want to think about starting your own club, then you might want to check out my blog at http://wargamingclub.blogspot.com.

    Good luck!

  3. i used to collect and battle wh40k and also lotr models they can be very fun =P, but also expensive. But, just stick with em. o yeah space marines own! ya not exactly be going to buy them every day they take time to paint so forget about the travel time, the cost of travel may be a slight prob. and no the independant shop is great its all i have where i live, gamesworkshop do have a wider variety but as i said ya not going there every day.
