  1. Trust me. I don't even play warhammer, and I know that the Battle for macrage is enough.


  2. Size.

    That's really about it.  The Big Green Book - as it's known - also has a painting and hobby section not included in the pocket-sized book.

    Personally, I like both books but prefer the small one for actually playing games, whereas the larger one is better for sitting and reading later.

  3. The Smaller book is just the rules and even then some of them are just summarized, were as the bigger book has a lot of fluff in it

  4. The big rule book has the rules and some background history about the 40K universe along with some terrain ideas and modeling ideas- think of it as a hobby book. The McCrage book only has the rules and is a nice size to take with you when you play to check the rules and mission, etc.
