how do u play splitscreen with 2 players

Go to a game that supports split screen, and hit start on the second player controller.

Split screen games have to be unranked, so look for an icon with a trophy crossed out. Then use the right analog stick to scroll through the game settings and see if split screen is enabled. None of the blue servers (official Sony servers) allow split screen, so find a server someone else made (a white server).

If your connection is good enough you can make a game of your own. It takes a while for people to join though.
