My husband received three texts from someone who wanted to contact Neil and Emma. The third one came at 6am this morn waking us up. I had warned him on the first one that would probably be a scam and to delete the text. However when he received the 3rd one he said he thought it was genuine and did a text back, it didn't sent the text, it started calling the number. I told him to cancel it.
What these scammers do as in this case, is to get you to call back and immediately £1 50 is deducted from your credit if not more and they receive the amount. They must do this to thousands of numbers and innocent people will call them back thus boosting their income.
Delete these texts and ignore them.
