Warped header flange and leaks?

If I have a header leak (particularly from a warped flange), will it always burn the header gasket?

  1. you could have it removed and planned down by a an automotive machine shop if theres enough material on the header. also if you could try to double gasket it and thatll work most times


  2. If the flange is warped it will keep burning up the gasket. You could try to straighted the flange the best you can and then see if you could find a soft metal gasket at the parts place closest to you.

  3. Yes...you need a new header or manifold
