Warrant/suspended license

Question

How would I go about finding out if my license is suspended or if I have a warrant? Should I ask a police officer?

call your local sheriff's office on the phone and ask, he/she answers these questions all the time

Call or visit your local DMV reference your license.

Call your local courthouse (or the courthouse for the jurisdiction where you would have received the ticket) to find out if you have a warrant.

If someone asked me if they had a warrant, i would check then immediately arrest them.
