Warranty for ps3????????????

bout it in december last year

soo i think i got a lil more time

but...

where and how!?!?! can i extand my warrant/insurrance for my ps3

i still got my one year warranty (free) with sony

but i wanna extand it sooo

how?

where?

*i cant find my receipt to my ps3 is that a problem

yes...receipt is a big problem.

i really don't know any place that honors a warranty without proof of purchase with date.  Depending on where you got it places like best buy and circuit city will offer the extended warranty and you'll never have to worry about it because they have you in their system.  

However after purchase  i'm not sure if they will be willing to offer you an extended warranty without a receipt.

I have heard of cases that with the receipt, you can buy it after a while, but only under certain conditions.

Not sure which of these are 100% true, but these are ones that i have heard:

System needs to have been purchased within 90 days prior to extended warranty

System must be unopened

Know someone who works at CC or BB (i know this one is true b/c on of my friends got an extended warranty only b/c our buddy works at BB, I'm hoping to do the same)

Otherwise i don't believe you can get the extra insurance policy.

I'd just give your local electronic place a call and hassle them to find out all the details.
