Question:

Wart Cures?

I have a plantars Wart on the bottom of my foot. I do not wish to freeze it off. I have read that vinegar and bandaids do the trick but the pain involved was described as "shooting your foot with a shotgun" and I already have a bad case of tendonitis in that foot! Does anyone suggest any less painful home remedies?

  1. I had a huge honkin plantars wart on my right big toe for the majority of my teens.  Ironically, I was clicking through the channels and Tammy Fae Baker, in all her glory, caught my eye and was taking about the very same thing.  Well, I followed her advice and, low and behold, I have yet to see the return of that wretched wart!  You will not believe how easy it is!

Soak your feet in hot water until your toes are wrinkled.  Dry off completely and then take a regular brown fingernail file and "file" the wart off with the rough side of the emery board.  That's it!  It may take a couple of tries, but I only did it once.

I know of two other cures for all types of warts, one being a sure fire, but somewhat nasty way........urinate onto a paper towel and apply to wart.  Continue until gone.

The other is to keep the wart covered with duck tape until gone.  The obviously would only work in some places.

    Good luck!

  2. Here is something you can try. I haven't tried it myself, but I know someone who tried this for warts, even though it doesn't specify it is for warts, but she has gotten warts off of three people using it. It's an essential oil blend called Mela Plus. You can buy it on-line from www.butterflyexpress.net

It has a smell of cloves, and since none of them wanted people smelling it on them they put it on at night, the longest it took one of their warts to go away was a month.

  3. vinegar works? i got a big ****** on my hand. im gonna go try it.
