  1. I don't know what the definition of fantastic match is to you, but for me it's match between two great players who give most of themselves to win, where you can see some great points etc. I haven't see any of that here. It was like Nadal was playing some guy who just start playing tennis and didn't know what happened to him...It was really awful match to watch and really sad and annoying for me since I like Federer.. But if you only care about Nadal winning then yeah I guess it was fantastic.

  2. in my opinion, nadal VS. djokovic in the SF was more fantastic than nadal VS. federer.. but all matches were fantastic!!!

  3. For watching Rafa's fantastic moves to win his fourth straight French Open yes it was. But the match in itself wasn't fantastic because there was no competition, it was just like Nadal playing against a lucky unseeded player. Fed was really dead today, very disappointing, but it's over and done, congrats big time to Rafa, time to look forward to Wimbeldon.

  4. I Love Rafa Too!! Nobody deserves more than him.. He was a little different when he won dontcha think?? Not as happy... Winning RG probably gets old for him :)

  5. No,actually it wasn't that great an experience to watch. Although Rafa is my favourite and I wanted him to win the 4th RG and make history,I couldn't stand watching the unravelling of one of the world's greatest players.

The match was anything but exciting. It was shocking, unbelievable, stunning and mind-boggling but NOT fun at all to watch!!

I wish Fed had been able to put up more of a fight. It's hard to judge just how good a player Nadal is when the opponent seems to have lost it all and has no answers.

  6. it was one sided boring I wanted some competition from Federer but he gave up as soon as match begun

  7. Absolutely fantastic. A bagel and breadstick in the same match and fed at the receiving end of both.

At the current rate I see no problems for Rafa taking the next 4-5 French Open titles. The guy is only getting better and better.

  8. As a display, it was great. Nadal was on fire and probably put on the greatest clay court performance in tennis history. As a match though, it was dreadful. Federer put up no resistance whatsoever. I knew Nadal would win, but the scoreline was ridiculous. Hopefully Federer can salvage something from this dismal year at Wimbledon or the US Open. How often has Federer EVER gone into a Major as a sentimental figure?

  9. I think only the second set was fun PS Rafa Sucks

  10. Yes it was.  I watched the final set and was so impressed with how well Nadal played.  I really enjoyed watching this year's French Open all the way around as well.

  11. it was boring

  12. It wasnt that great it was mostly one sided even if I was a Nadal fan I wouldnt want to see that match expecting a Great one.

  13. Nadal was fantastic and has been great the entire tournament. You could really tell by Federer's body language that it was a nightmare for him to be out there, plus his forehand was not on at all. I hope these two meet again at Wimbledon because it should be a real even match.

  14. i wouldn't really call it fantastic. if it was a competitive match then yes, i would call it fantastic. the match was like Nadal against an unseeded player who was just lucky to be in the final, not like against the world no.1. yes, there were several occasions where it was competitive but that was like for a few minutes. few points. it was like federer just gave up the match and it wasn't even over yet. c'mon! the match only lasted 1hr 48mins! and its 3 sets! FANTASTIC game from nadal. but the match... no, it wasn't a fantastic match.

    congratulations to nadal.
