Canada has better olympians than him. I just think because his name sounds like Vancouver he was chosen to carry our flag.

  1. he won 2 Medals in Athens and was heavy favourite to win 2 Golds these games that's why he was the flag bearer, with his 1 Silver he won't be carrying the flag at closing ceremonies
