  1. No aladdan was not a real person. Aladdan is an Arabian myth, stories from the culture.  There may be some truths found in the Aladdan story, for example how people lived during that time, the way society functioned and thought when the myth came about.  But as for the man who stopped the forty theives, winning over a princess....not so much.

  2. Probably based on Aladdin!

    Or Aladdan!

  3. Aladdin was not real but his Magic Lamp was real.

  4. No i think it was one of the Arabian Nights 1,001 tales.

  5. Yes, it is true that the Arabian Nights were all fiction,

They were made to put Prince Ha-Mubhud to sleep every night,

at the 1,oo1'st night, the old Nandi could make up anymore stories for the boy, so she went mad and killed him. Alladin was one of the stories, which was created so that the prince would have an idea of what it was like to live as a peasant in trouble with the law, a peasant that wished he could be a prince. All this, because the prince wanted to be like a peasant!
