Was Andrew Jackson's veto of the Bank of the US unconstitutional?

  1. It was Constitutional. The president has full designated authority, by the written words in the Constitution, to use his Veto power, and he did. Anyone who tells you its unconstitutional or an expansion of presidential power, needs to go back and do their studies. (I mentioned this only because many people seem to be confused about their government and what it can and cannot do).

    P.S. the first two answers before me, are pretty right on.


  2. no, it wasn't. He vetoed it constitutionally and properly. How would that be unconstitutional?
