  1. I wouldn't put it passed him!

  2. the guy's a loser, I hope they don't make him immortal.

  3. he more than likely was just sick with nerves it was a big thing to admit to.

  4. and the coughing. right under the bright lights. Gould was right deep frying him there.

Still, I imagine going on national tv and telling everyone that pretty much your whole career was tainted, knowing that each one them would probably like your head for this, isn't a walk in the park.

He still won those stacks and stacks of games. and sober, mind you.

  5. ANDREW JOHNS HAS A BOOK COMING OUT SOON.... a warts and all book and I know for a FACT that this recent epsiode is all is part of the marketing strategy designed to launch and promote this book.

What is editorial today, will be lining Andrew John's pockets tomorrow.

As he has been for the last 10 years "batttling" drugs, he is once again misleading us.

See through the hype people....It is what's called Viral marketing

If you don't believe me, just watch this space...

He has a lot of fans and they deserve better than to be treated this way...

  6. Maybe he was nervous about having to tell people that he has faults and character flaws like the rest of us.  People seem to think that putting a person on a pedestal because they play sport automatically elevates them to saints and if they deviate from that position then god help them.  Just because he plays sports, we have no ownership on him and we can't tell him what he can and cannot do, what gives us the right to impose our so called morals on someone else anyway.  He never hurt me.  Who cares give the guy a break.

  7. He wasn't drunk but he did seem that way. He was suffering jet lag, tiredness and anxiety. He was probably suffering from acute embarrassment as well. I suppose all the people answering this question (in the negative) have never gotten too drunk or maybe taken illicit drugs, said something that they regretted or made any FUBAR's in their entire lives. I really hate people who are quick to judge others when they are not perfect themselves. How many rules do we all break at work, school, on the road driving or mistakes we make in life generally. Johns is an ordinary man, with ordinary failings  who has been thrust into the public limelight because he has extraordinary football ability. How many other of our "heroes" have feet of clay? At least Johns had the guts to face us all to admit his failings. Could any of you detractors been able to get up admit your failings, publicly, on national TV? I doubt it. Guys like 'GOGOPLATA" are quick to cut down any famous person and call them loser. What the h**l has been your contribution to mankind?

Tall poppy syndrome is alive and well.

  8. Yes he came and scored a couple of tabs off me before he went on air..sshhhhh dont tell anyone,,its a secret!

  9. More likely that was anxiety. Having to take responsibility for one's actions, particuarly after deceiving so many (including of course, himself) for so long.

  10. He did not look well, did he. He looked drunk to me, I thought he was going to throw up at one stage.
