  1. not bad.

  2. Yes, he was a very consistent ruckman and very long kick for Geelong. The ruckman is the teams tallest player, they do a tap for the ball like in basketball.

And yes Gary Ablett was a freak, and his son is not too bloody bad either.

  3. never heard of him

  4. Yes. He played with Geelong and was one of the best players in the AFL. He is most famous for having the longest kick in the game - he can kick a ball 60m easily and would often kick it 70-80m. To put this in perspective when someone is kicking for goal we have a 50m line painted on the field because this is the general kicking limit of most players.

He was also quite tall which gave him an advantage when defending and also had great vision so he usually chose the best option.

In short - he would have a place in any side in the AFL the only downside for him is that 20 years ago people would have come to the footy just to watch him play because he was such a long kick. Nowadays there is a lot more short passing which meant he was never utilised as much as he would have been in a different era.

PS. Geelong were in four grand finals in the last ten or so years but never won any.

PPS If you're interested in Geelong then google Gary Ablett, he played with Graham and is regarded as the best ever player of all time - his nickname is GOD.
