  1. Neither, he is just doing his job.

  2. Hero, criminal, in the end of the day hes still 4 feet tall so, cut the guy a break.

  3. He's was being a real jockey is all about: Compassion for the animal and understanding that animal and loving that animal more than anything else. Obviously, Big Brown communicated to him that he wanted some downtime and so he was granted that out of respect.

  4. a great person to avoid a  tragic accident kent has a lot of my respect,he child going blind and deaf as well bless him

  5. I personally am extremeley thankful that he pulled back Big Brown.  He was trying to protect the horse that he loved, and I greatly respect him for that.

  6. One would have to know his true motivation in doing as he did in order to classify him one way or the other, and I suppose very few people (if any) know/will ever know what that truly was.  One can only hope that he was sincere, and that the whole thing wasn't just a despicable hoax (fix).

  7. Neither. .  Though I am not too sure I agree with him. He stated that he knew he would finish nothing but last, so he pulled him up.

I would like to think that he would not do that just because he was upset at losing.

  8. no he is not a hero or criminal. the most important thing to a jockey is safety, thats number 1. for both himself and the horse. if he thinks his or the horses safety is an issue he will do what is necessary to fix the situation, even if it means pulling up the horse in a major race, or just in the morning workout. every single jockey or exercise rider knows someone who was killed or paralysed in a racing accident and they would never put themselves, horses, and other jockeys/riders  in danger.

  9. He's neither, he's a jockey whose mount lost a horse race.  It happens all the time.  It doesn't have to be anyones fault.  There doesn't have to be anything wrong with the horse.  How stupid would it be if every jockey who lost a race with a favorite was accused of being a criminal.

  10. a hero he looked after the horse he loves.

  11. I wouldn't say criminal, but he sure the h**l is no hero
