Was Billy Gunn aka Kip James misused in the WWE?

I mean, from what I saw of him, he's more of a tag team wrestler than a singles wrestler, even if he won KOTR in 1999 and was pipped to be the man behind running over Stone Cold Steve Austin.

So how good was he, was he misused, or did he belong in the tag team/mid card division.

Its a video about a minute long when he's on TNA ripping into DX. I find it funny how he criticises HBK and HHH (although people might not like HHH). He thinks he could draw, I say "nice try Billy no mates". What do you say?

  1. No. The WWE tried to push him, but alas, he just was not a draw. He's like Test, he had talent, a decent look, size, potential, and participation in huge angles and stables, but just never had what it takes to reach the main event and the fans just never cared for him. WWE hoped he could've been a draw, but no, Billy was far from it.

  2. Yeah, he was misused- he was given way more credit and spotlight than he should have gotten.

  3. i think he was, he had talent and WWE didn't see that, he got pushed in the 90's against The Rock and should have continued to get pushed but they threw him in with Chuck and came up with the storyline that ruined his career

  4. NOPE

HE IS THE WWE LONGEST REIGNING TAG TEAM CHAMPION OF ALL TIME

  5. Average wrestler who can't do anything other than tag matches.

  6. road dog and billy gunn was a cool tag team. one of the beat. i wish they were still in the wwe.
