In the same league as the TN "I hate liberals" shooter?

Bruce Ivins, government scientist committed suicide after he learned he would be prosecuted for the 2001 anthrax attacks. Anthrax letters were sent to former Democrat majority leader Tom Dashle and Democrat Patrick Leahy.

Letters were also sent to the "liberal media". 5 people died and many got sick.

He was certainly a nut case, however I have no idea what his politics were.
