  1. I really don't know, it's possible that he could beat the old Shaolin monks, but they did some pretty intense training. I'm pretty sure he would have quite a fight on his hands if he was going against a samurai or hwarang warrior because they were trained to fight battles that could last hours or even days. And i don't think you can compare him to a ninja as they were more stealth based and probably wouldn't face him in daylight or a head to head fight.

  2. Bruce was an outstanding athlete and martail artist due to his total commitmnet to his goal but only studied his core art of wing chun for 5 years, learning only a small ammount of the system before adding other aspect and forming his art of jeet kune do - the original shaolin masters would have mastered many styles over at least 20 years - although his skills were of a high level, this is an everday occurence in any good wing chun school - as for ninjas and samurai warriors there training was also absolute and they were prepared to use it for real on the battlefields of japan - bruce used his skills in the movies, not real life...whatever peoples individual opinion is, bruce has inspired literally hundreds of thousands of people to take up martial arts training and this has to be a good thing - Rambo was very sucessful in his films also but would last about 5 mins in a real war - still bruce is a big inspiration for me and always will be

  3. Not sure i agree with you guys......The Samurai and ninjas were battle hardened.  These guys would make short work of pretty much anyone, its what they lived for, it was their purpose, bruce was great, but nothing to a true killer.

  4. go back to watching naruto.

  5. the thing is is hand to hand with no weopans any body could win its all in how a person moves and so on and so fourth with martial arts of this caliber. however they chinese warriors you talk about never really fought. they saw it as a disgrace to there arts. they samuri and ninja killed and at times killed for fun. at the height of there fighting days they started training as kids in all japanese martial arts and could use all weapons and fighting styles known to japan. in battle fighting they had a heavy emphasis on spears and in fights with fewer people it was all about the swords. so the battle o the hands feet and ground I do give bruce the edge but once weopons are introduced I gotta go with the japanese or the chinese even though the didn't do much killing they sure did train with them a lot

  6. Bruce Lee was the greatest fighter in the last century or so. Many great martial artists come from long before hand.

  7. absolutly. although if he were still alive his martial art is now not the best only because people have found its weaknesses. the perfect art is mixed and his was close but not completely
