  1. There have been many better martial artists than Bruce Lee. If he was so good, he would've competed in world championships. Chuck Norris won some as a middleweight. Bruce didn't even try. "Black Belt" magazine's recent Bruce Lee special told that. Someone replied that a book written by Bruce's widow Linda said he won some high school boxing matches. Big deal, that doesn't make him anywhere near the best in the world. Jeremy or whatever is correct. Bruce only did scripted fights in movies.

  2. The things he'd done was only in the movies; you can't compare that to the real world.

A typical person with no martial arts background--like from the streets--or in MMA could demolish Bruce Lee! First off, he was to skinny for real world fighting, and secondly, his styles were only effective in the "movie" aspect.

Folks think  what he'd done in movies, he can do in the real world. Wrong!

  3. My room mate's boyfriend lived  a few blocks from Bruce's birthplace for years, and he knew some of Bruce's relatives and studied under a man Bruce taught. He says there are many wild stories now that these people never mentioned in the 1970's or 1980's. We see that Bruce has become a legend and few people now understand the real man. My room mate showed me recent issues of "Black Belt" and "Muscle & Fitness" devoted to Bruce. If everyone would read them, they could see that there is much nonsense told about Bruce. They say there've been many martial artists better than Bruce was.

  4. Ya your right jerrime your right. He has no background, yet he was able to create a martial art that incorporates several different martial arts.

And your also right he had no martial art experience outside the movies. That's why he created several martial arts dojos before he even got dragged into hollywood.

And what kind of c**p is "he's to skinny to do martial arts". Jerrime drugs are bad man they make you stupid.

  5. anyone who says what he did was just in movies knows nothign about him. and if you say he did it in movies means it doesnt work then you also have say all the people in the UFC just fight on tv(im not saying UFC is fake) but just because somoene does martial arts in movies doesnt mean they arnt a good martial artist.

no he wasnt to good for this world im sure there are people who could beat him even some of the UFC guys mainly because they are a lot biger heavier and stronger but it would still be an awesome fight to watch.

  6. hes not god so he wasnt that great. nasty jkd and wing chun and i admit he would (and did) beat the **** out of every and ne 1 he  fought

    AND HED KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLL CHUCK NORRIS

  7. No he was not too good for this world and yes many have been, still are, and will be better then him. If you take away all of the second hand accounts and the tall tales that are unprovable, he becomes very human.

  8. kimbo slice would crush him with a single flick of his finger

  9. No one is too good for this world, although there are a few who are too bad for it.  We need all of the good we can get.

Bruce Lee was the real deal.  I never knew him but I know quite a few people with first hand knowledge of the man.  Most of what made him great was just the fact that he out worked everyone.

  10. Chuck Norris

  11. Too good? No.

He was good for the world of martial arts though. Opening it up to increase the skill of all practinors and dispel many rumors that still exist today.

Today their are many martial artist that would be able to defeat Mr. Lee in his prime, as there was in his day (Although I think there is more now). Some of the best martial artist are people you will never hear or see from as they are far too busy training to recieve any acclaids.
