Bloody h**l Carlos castaneda ? that takes me back, i have the jouney to Ixtlan somewhere, tales of power (?)  too.

Dont remember any veggy aspect. Don Juan would have probably made him eat meat just for the  craic anyway :-)

I don't think that he was, but I have never met the man.  Would have liked to, though.  Lots of questions.

The books written by Carlos Castanada were thought to be a hoax, but were an entertaining read. He certainly liked peyote and other 'organic' matter but I don't know if he was vegetarian.
