John McCain at 72 could easily die in his sleep. So that would mean Sarah Palin steps in. Now is she so responsible to be President when she missed a 5 minute talk about Birth Control with her daughter?

  1. As a REAL Christian; not a hypercritical one..

Palin does not believe in birth control.. shes pro-life.

&& Obama; as a fraud Christian; is pro-choice.

  2. They had the talk. Sometimes teens don't do what their parents say.

  3. I guess you done everything your mother said.

  4. Letterman is here to entertain us, not enlighten us. So no, he's not right, he's just funny, nothing more nothing less.

  5. Shows the libs are reaching for straws. If Letterman is the best talking head they got then they are in big trouble.

  6. Or, she trusted her daughter when she said she would practice abstinence. Would she trust Iran or Korea when they say they will not produce nukes?

  7. How do you know that she missed anything with her daughter?

Were you there? All the time? Because if you weren't it means your making stuff up. Is that how you want to win the election? Making stuff up?

  8. cannot let it go huh

  9. You really take your information from Letterman. Didnt know anyone still watched that.

  10. corny

  11. Letterman is correct.  Palin is against condoms, too - and promotes abstinence-only programs ( which are proven to have no effect on either std or teen pregnancy rates!)  She's a redneck idiot!

  12. I understand why Johnny Carson didnt give hin the show,No class.

  13. Wow. thats deep!

  14. Letterman is a joke.  The problem with the obama koolaid drinkers is they have no perspective of speech. obama makes them cry and faint and letterman's boring jokes make news. sheesh.

  15. letterman is a liberal, what do you expect?

  16. david letterman is clever...however, he is also in entertainment and right now, you HAVE to be a left wing, g*y marriage supporting, George Bush hating, anti war, anti oil, anti republican to be accepted....would ANY of the top celebs (ben affleck, brad pitt, george clooney, etc, etc.) EVER come on his show OR any of the other shows if David Letterman disagreed with popular Hollywood idea of 'me' first....God, country, unborn babies a FARRRR second.

i've always appreciated David Letterman's sense of humor... but i don't agree with his politics.

And teenage daughters can  and DO get pregnant...17 and pregnant and marrying your boyfriend - is NOT the end of the world. the ideal age to have a child is about 20...she is just being a human being. And her mother is not responsible for her decisions to pursue children and marriage instead of (say) politics.

  17. wow!

  18. As a mom of two teenagers and former teenager myself, I know that this fabled *control* I'm hearing so much about is easier said than done.  Even teenagers know it!  That's just how life goes sometimes and we have to love our children even when they make mistakes, because our children are real people.  Part of being a parent is understanding that children make mistakes.  People who don't understand this should not become parents.  This does not mean that we don't guide our children, but when they become teenagers, we have to slowly let go of them, even when it's hard to do.  Think about it this way: even adults have unplanned pregnancies.  Do we expect that children never will?

  19. Letterman said it! so I guess i better drink hiz kool-aide.

  20. Was David Letterman right when he asked "Am I still on TV?" "Does anyone care about me anymore?" No, I guess they don't.

  21. Who are we to judge others about parenting? I know letterman has a kid and he could face the same thing some day!
