  1. 20 goals in 100 games yes he was a flop and we dont want him at spurs....................

  2. Yes he was a flop, just throw him in a pile with the rest of the flops that have graced OT

  3. He may be a flop and even flipped flopped at times. But I liked it how he silenced the KOP regularly. That's what mattered most.

  4. Yes!!!

  5. yes he was a big flop

    and but if robbie keane

is worth 20million then he is

    worth about 30

  6. yes and hes worth about 10 million now

  7. he is worth £20m, you could see at man utd he was a good player but just couldnt score for some reason or another but the man utd fans loved him.

  8. He was a big flop for ManU and was bought for so much!

  9. Well in terms of Man Utd he was a flop but he would have easily fitted in at most Premiership sides such is the quality of Fergies selection policy. He just happened to be at Utd at a time when starting on the front row wasn't an easy thing to accomplish.

Well done to the immature person giving thumbs down, i am sure you wont be able to do that once school starts.

  10. Ya!

  11. Well, he played about 100 games for United (although in more than half of them he came on as a sub) and he only scored only about 20 goals, so he fails the primary criteria by which forwards are judged. In addition, while his transfer fee was officially undisclosed, it was rumored to be 1.5m, a loss of 5.5m on the 7m United originally paid for him. In those respects he was a failure at United. He was, however, a fan favorite at OT because he obviously played his heart out in every game and scored some important goals (a double against Liverpool in particular and one cracker against Chelsea really stands out as well as some notable last minute winners). His later performances in La Liga make me wonder if he should have been given more chance with a starting berth at United - he's averaged 20 goals a season since he left United and picked up the La Liga and European Golden Boot in the 2004/05 season. Is he worth 20m? Hard to say - at 29 there's a danger that he may have peaked and maybe he's not suited to the English game. But his goal scoring record in recent years has been very good so it might be worth an English club taking a chance on him.
