Was Du Denken? Humpback Whales?

There isn't much coverage in America regarding the massacre of over 1,000 Humpback whales. Although, Japan calls it a scientific expedition, it is for commercial consumption. I would like to know if Germans are concerned over this issue.

Yes, you do see reports about the murder of whales by the Japanese, mostly on the TV news.  I don't know who they think they're fooling by saying it's for research.  I'm sure most people in Germany don't approve of this mass slaughter of whales.

Yes, we are. There is media coverage and protests as well as petitions, but I guess the situation is similar to the U.S.. There are people who care, outnumbered by people who don't. Sad.
